Invoicing that matches how your trade charges.
A plumber bills a call out fee. A cleaner bills a recurring visit. A landscaper bills materials at cost and labor by the crew. One generic invoice form serves none of them well, so each page below shows the app doing the specific job your trade needs.

Every trade bills differently
Every page below is written around one trade: the jobs it bills, the words it uses on the invoice, and the part of the paperwork that usually goes wrong. If your trade is not here yet, the app still fits, because the invoice is built line by line rather than from a fixed template.
Electricians
Split parts and labor, pass on permit fees, bill rough in and trim as separate stages, and send the PDF before you leave the driveway.
See how it works →Plumbers
Call out minimum, hours after the first, parts at your markup, and an emergency rate that does not need explaining twice.
See how it works →Locksmiths
Lockouts get paid at the door, so the document has to exist at the door. Build it on the phone, mark it paid, send the receipt.
See how it works →HVAC contractors
Diagnostic fee, parts, refrigerant and labor kept apart, plus deposits on equipment jobs and clean paperwork for maintenance agreements.
See how it works →Cleaning businesses
Repeat visits are the whole business, so the same invoice has to be reproducible in seconds and readable by an office manager who never met you.
See how it works →Landscapers
Maintenance rounds and build projects bill nothing alike. One is a repeated visit, the other is stages, crew days and a deposit.
See how it works →Handyman services
Handyman work is five small jobs at one address. The invoice has to itemize all five without taking longer to write than the last one took to fix.
See how it works →Mobile mechanics
Diagnostic fee credited or not, parts at your price, labour by the hour, and a receipt the customer can show a warranty claim.
See how it works →Painters and decorators
Preparation is most of the labour and none of the credit. Put it on its own line and the price stops looking like paint plus a day.
See how it works →Roofers
Price by the square, take a deposit for materials, and put the decking you found rotten in writing before you replace it.
See how it works →Pest control
An initial treatment is never one visit. The invoice has to show what is included, what is a return, and what the customer is paying again for.
See how it works →Appliance repair
Two visits, one repair. The invoice has to carry the diagnostic, the part number and the model, or the warranty claim falls on you.
See how it works →Carpet cleaners
Priced by room, by area or by the job, with stairs and protector as add ons. The invoice has to survive a customer counting rooms differently.
See how it works →Pool service
A monthly plan, chemicals on top, and repairs that are nothing to do with either. Three different charges the customer keeps merging into one.
See how it works →Tilers
The tiles are the customer purchase. Preparation, waterproofing and wastage are yours, and all three need their own line.
See how it works →Tree surgeons
Access decides the price more than the tree does. Crew size, machinery and waste all belong on their own lines.
See how it works →Window cleaners
Forty invoices of thirty dollars each. The only thing that matters is how long the second one takes.
See how it works →Flooring installers
Supply and fit, or fit only. Subfloor preparation, uplift and wastage are the three lines that decide whether the price gets questioned.
See how it works →Towing and roadside
Hook up, mileage, after hours and storage are four different charges. Merge them and every recovery becomes a phone call.
See how it works →Fencing contractors
Per metre sounds simple until the ground is solid clay. Posts, concrete, removal and gates each need their own line.
See how it works →Photographers
Shooting is the visible part. Editing, licensing and delivery are the rest of the price, and each needs its own line.
See how it works →Personal trainers
Blocks paid in advance, monthly online coaching, and a cancellation policy that only works if it is written on the document.
See how it works →Mobile detailing
Packages sell the job and add ons make the margin. Both belong on the invoice, priced where the customer can choose.
See how it works →What every trade gets, whatever the job
The differences are in the line items. The machinery underneath Invoice Local is the same on every page, and none of it needs configuring before your first invoice goes out.
Questions that come up whatever the trade
My trade is not in the list. Does the app still fit?
Yes. Nothing in Invoice Local is locked to a trade. You write the lines that describe your work, save the ones you repeat, and the totals, tax and terms behave the same way. The trade pages exist because the wording and the billing habits differ, not because the software does.
What does it cost?
Unlimited invoices and quotes are free forever. Pro is $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year and adds five more invoice designs, removes the small watermark and puts your logo on the invoice.
Can two people in the business use it?
Yes, but they will be working in separate accounts. There is no shared team workspace, so two people signed in separately keep two independent invoice numbering sequences. If you need one continuous sequence, which most trades do, keep invoicing under a single account and sign in to it on both devices; cloud backup keeps them in step.
Do I have to create an account?
No. The app works fully offline with no sign up at all, because your data lives on the device. Creating a free account only adds cloud backup and sync, which matters if you replace the phone or work off a tablet as well.
Pick a trade, or just start invoicing
The app is the same either way. Free forever for unlimited invoices and quotes, with Pro available when you want the extra designs.
