Can I put several jobs on one invoice?
Yes, and that is the normal way to use it. Add a line for each task with its own description and price, plus a line for the minimum charge and one for materials. Customers accept an itemized total far more readily than a single figure for a morning of work.
How do I handle extra jobs the customer adds on the day?
Add them as their own lines and, where the amount is meaningful, agree the extra by message before you do it. A short written yes turns a surprise on the invoice into something the customer already approved, which is the difference between a payment and an argument.
I work for two letting agents. Can I bill them monthly?
Yes. Save the agent as the customer and list each visit as a line with its date and property. If they issue purchase order numbers, put that on the document too, because for many agencies a missing reference is the single reason an invoice sits unpaid.
Does it need a signal at the property?
